    • Benefits for Member Colleges

HUCBMS, established in 1993, is a nationally and internationally recognised subject association. It enables its members to communicate and meet together to discuss and be updated regularly on important policy issues and developments as they relate to higher education and research in general, and biomedical sciences in particular. It promotes the dissemination of best practice and innovation among HUCBMS members, and provides advice and guidance to biomedical sciences departments, schools and centres. Most importantly, in representing the interests of its members and biomedical sciences overall, HUCBMS acts as a representative voice for a major subject area that is of fundamental importance for the promotion of health and wellbeing, and a cornerstone of current and future economic development
