Can an individual become a member of HUCBMS?
No, individuals do not become members. Higher education institutions that provide teaching and/or undertake research in the biomedical sciences can join HUCBMS.
Does my higher education institute have to teach courses called BSc or MSc in “Biomedical Sciences” specifically in order to join HUCBMS?
No we define biomedical sciences in the broadest sense to include also human biological sciences, physiology, anatomy, microbiology, nutrition, dietetics, optometry, pharmacology etc…
How does my higher education institute become a member of HUCBMS?

Does my higher education institute have to be in the UK or Ireland to join?
No, we welcome member institutions from anywhere in the world.
Does my higher education institute have to be a member for me to attend the HUCBMS annual conference?
Whilst we would welcome your institution to join HUCBMS, anyone with an interest in the biomedical sciences is welcome to join our conference.
